This stunning Mediterranean-inspired primary bath embraces soft hues and earthy textures for a spa-like atmosphere. Reflecting a perfect blend of San Diego’s coastal influence and Mediterranean charm, this project holds a special place in our hearts.

From the outset, the clients envisioned a space that felt undeniably serene, with a soft pop of color. We began with foundational elements: Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams on the custom cabinetry and Arto Brick’s “rice” concrete brick in a herringbone pattern for the flooring. These selections ground the space, creating an immediately soothing atmosphere.

A custom arched door creates a focal point, enhancing the room’s Mediterranean style. Complementing this feature, carefully selected wooden arch mirrors by West Mirrors add warmth and cohesion.

The shower features soft porcelain tiles with subtle white and gray undertones, extending gracefully along the shower and vanity walls to create continuity. Although the volume of tile felt overwhelming initially, once grouted, it created an exquisite, seamless flow that exceeded our clients' expectations. Kevin Bennett’s thoughtful idea of raising the shower pan eliminated the need for a traditional dam, enhancing the room’s sophistication.

Thin shaker-style vanities in an inset face frame and a blend of brass and oil-rubbed bronze hardware introduce character and charm. A wicker chandelier, suspended above the bathtub, adds an ethereal touch, while Turkish towels, carved wood trays, and delicate rugs complete the serene, earthy palette.
